What we do

This site compares US fragrance prices bottle-for-bottle: same fragrance, same concentration, same size, same condition. For each offer we will show:

• the total cost including shipping, and the price per ounce;
• the seller's stated shipping time;
• documented facts about the seller, such as how long we have tracked them, their stated return policy and review counts, each with a source and a date.

Two separate labels

We publish two labels and never combine them into a single score:

1. Seller standing describes documented facts about the seller, for example whether a brand lists them as an authorized retailer (only when we have a stored source).
2. Price signal describes how a price compares with the recent typical price at established retailers, after we have checked for explainable reasons such as testers, unboxed bottles, decants or size differences.

Each label links to how it was produced, and we keep the inputs and method version so a label can be reproduced. The reader draws the conclusion.

How we make money

We earn affiliate commissions when you buy through some links on this site. Details are on our affiliate disclosure page.

• Commission rates are never used to order or label listings.
• Wherever we show listings, each one will say whether we earn a commission on it ("We earn a commission" or "No commission").
• Inclusion cannot be bought. We do not accept payment for placement or reviews.
• Retailers without an affiliate program can be listed for free. If you run a retailer and want to be considered, write to contact@samebottle.com.
